The fullness of God.

Ephesians 3
13Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory. 14For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
This is Paul writing to the Ephesians, and he tells us in verse 18-19 about the fullness of God.
The Love that surpasses knowledge, the length and height and even depths of God's limitless love for us.
There is no doubt that God loves us. If there is something that I know about my Father, it must be this; that He loves me more than anything in the whole world.
But there is something I found out about Him (my Father), and this is Him showing me His nature. He has one thing in common with my enemy (Satan). They have one thing in common, they both try to kill us. Our Father wants our attention, and wants us to be led by His Spirit (dear Holy Spirit). And He wants us to trust in Him at all times, no matter what the circumstances are in our lives, God wants you to put your trust in Him, to put Him first in everything you do.
"Be still, and know that I am God." -God
God wants to kill that part of you that doesn't want to obey Him.
And as the apostle said "We die all day long." or "I die daily."
The apostle Paul had an experience about this, and he tells us about it in
2 Corinthians 12
A Thorn in the Flesh
7Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me--to keep me from exalting myself! 8Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness " Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
I just love the way Paul takes it, because he finds out after God told him about the Power of Christ that dwells on the inside of him. Paul said "I am weak, then I am strong."
In God's wisdom you will find that you live in a Kingdom (God's Kingdom) that leads you to contradictions in one way, let me explain :
You must give to receive,
you loose your life, and then find it,
as in die to live.
This is some of God's principles for your life,
you will find this everywere in the Bible..
A good example of that can be found in the book of Job.
What God can pull through you, He will also give to you.
Ok, I can write more about this later.
We need to go back to Paul in 2 Corinthians 12
Because I read a different version of that scripture,
a verson called "The Message", im not a big friend of that Bible verson, but I liked what it said about Paul in
2 Corinthians 12
7-10Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn't get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan's angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn't think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me, My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.
Do you see it? "Satan's angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees."
Thats were God wanted Paul at the time ! On his knees. Imagine when the Devil's angel found out that he was just helping God at the point.
You know, the Devil has knowledge, but he doesn't have wisdom. I will say that again ; the Devil has knowledge, but he doesn't have wisdom.
And God so often allows in His wisdom what He could easily prevent by His power.
In this plog-post I wanted you to get to know God in a deeper way, and I hope that you got to see that our God is greater than he thats in the world. And our God alows things to happen, but He does it in love.
because He will never put more on you than you can bear..
Its for you and me to learn, to get to know Him,
the fullness of God ..
I might continue on this subject some other time, God willing.
In the meantime,
stay close to Him, Jesus. Hide in Him, worship and Love Him,
He loved you first !
May the Holy Spirit reveal this in you !
God Bless you,
Erlend
