A glimpse of Erlend's diary
God is reliable in everything He does,
dependable when it come to His promisses, constant in His Nature,
unfailing in His Love for us. So when we often say; «Nothing can
seperate us from His Love» it means His Love for us is already
given. He loves us one-hundred % this very moment no matter what.
This will not ever change, not even if we get better on days. And He
will not love us less, if we get any wors.. His love is not based
upon our preformance, but it is freely given to us because this is
who God is... He is Love.
As I wrote this I was sitting on my
front porch looking out over the village I live in.
My mind was on Him, the One person that
changed my life... Jesus..
I think to myself;
«In me lives the One whom nothing is
impossible. Jesus. He lives on the inside of me.
God, I love You. I love You more than
anything in this world. I don't want to live one minute without You
in my life. I can ask You for anything, and You.. You never stop
giving.. Your love is unfailing..
Lord, You are Beautiful.. I am in love
with You. I want You to know that.
I want You to know that I love You
back, my heart belongs to You Lord.
Everything I do, I want to do it for
You..»
Tonight is not like any other night.
Tonight I sat down and wrote the first part, read it, meditated on it
and wrote my thoughts afterwords..
My thought right now is; How often do I
sit down and think about His goodness, and loving kindness. And how
often do I tell Him that I love Him. Really love Him.
Tears are running down my cheek, and I
feel Blessed.. I mean really Blessed.. It's like God is all around,
and His presence is different around me.. It is like God smiles in a
different way to me at this time.
I was now ministering to the Lord.

Ephesians 3:20 says ;
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the Power that works in us."
- So, what is it that is beyond asking or thinking?
I guess we have to start dreaming ...
I have a dream
The very thing that I am dreaming about, that lies deep in my heart is; to see this world totally transformed. To see a comunity of people pulling down the Kingdom of God and give Jesus to people around them.
I heard a sermon two weeks ago about "touching people in your world". He was talking about getting to know people around you, and give then the love of God. To touch people in your personal world. The people you meet on a day-to-day basis.
And you know, when I thoght about it, dreamed about it and talked to God about it, I found out that this was a great idea. It's not a brand new way of thinking, but it is a fast, productive way to spred the love of God.
This is easy, aye? That is probably the reason the most of us are afraid of doing things like that.
It's more comfortable to sit in our Church buildings asking God to send us something He's never gonna send.... Revival.
The word revival means, well..
Some say;
"Makes fresh and strong people."
"That people wake up, and change the way they think and act."
"Revival is something happening inside the church, Christians waking up to their first love."
So I guess revival is not that a lot of people get saved, because.. You cannot revive something that has never been alive, can you?
Revival is when the church-body wakes up from their sleep, and catches the love of God.. Going back to their first Love, which is Jesus Himself.
I am talking about the church, not people that has not yet had an experience of God.
The church needs to get back to their first Love, and STAY there! :)
So why do we ask God for something we need to make a decision about ourselves, individually?
Renewal is more like a lot of people turning their lives to God for the first time,
and renewal in your workplace, your hometown and so on.
But renewal comes as a result of Christians turning back to their first Love, and by spending time in His presence, getting a new compassion for the lost.
It is time that Jesus get back in center of todays church. It is His place, to be the center of our lives, to be the Lover of our souls.. To be Lord in our lives.
It is time that the Holy Spirit, not only "gets room" in our meeting but gets our full attention every hour of the day..
God wants you to have a great life, a life full of laughter and joy,
and He wants you to succeed in life! He wants for you, a future full of hope!
But hey, don't you think He wants to share this experiences with you?
Together with you, hand in Hand. Walking and talking, doing life together..
He wants a relationship with you.... and your neighbour.. and all the other people in this world..
We have a job to do folks! And it is time for us, disciples of Jesus Christ to pull down the Kingdom of God to the earth.
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven !
I have a dream, and my dream is to see His Glory fill the earth. To see people who once believed, come back to God, to see the church rise for His Glory!
I want to see poor people getting their lives back. And I want to see people without hope getting a worthy life, and not only getting their hopes back, but a personal relationship with the King of Heaven...... Jesus
I believe in God,
with all my heart I do believe in a Great God..
I know that God wants, and I know that He can.. and if we want to believe in Him and all that He is, He will turn this world upside down..
Do you want to believe with me?
